We are pleased to invite you to the 115th Congress of the Italian Botanical Society (VII International Plant Science Conference) that will be held in Bologna from Wednesday Sept. 9 to Friday Sept. 11, 2020.
The Congress will host several international speakers who are experts in various fields of botany and will take place at the Bologna Campus of the University of Bologna. A post-congress event will take place on Friday afternoon on the topic of “Urban vegetation as a source of wellbeing and good health”
On Saturday Sept. 12th, the Italian Botanical Society annual excursion will take participants who have registered for it to the CONTRAFFORTE PLIOCENICO (https://ambiente.regione.emilia-romagna.it/it/parchi-natura2000/rete-natura-2000/siti/it4050012), a rich and varied naturalistic site located on the hills outside Bologna.
We hope that the 115th Congress of the Italian Botanical Society will represent an important occasion for scientific exchange between junior and senior researchers, as well as graduate students, working in different areas. Grants are available for young researchers who will present an abstract as first author.
The official language of the Congress is English, except for the post-congress symposium.
