Abstract

The abstract should be completed in the manner listed below and included in the database, through the restricted area which can be accessed only after registration, not later than May 31, 2011, using the appropriate link in the pages devoted to Congress.

WARNING.: Each participant may submit ONE POSTER. Is not permitted the inclusion of summaries of which has not been one of the authors

The Scientific Committee of the Congress reserves the right to require authors to the transformation of communications in poster or poster communications.
The poster sessions will be divided into groups representing the SBI (see table).
A code identifies the session and then all the posters, containing scientific issues related to the same group, should be made identifiable.
The posters should have a maximum size of 100 x 70 cm.
The summary must be completed on a single sheet of A4 paper (multi-page summaries will be used in an incomplete discarding the excess pages). The writing should leave an empty space on all four sides of 2.8 cm for easy stapling. The spacing is single and punctuation will be used after a blank space. The character of writing used should be of the Times (size 12) although in special cases can be used to underline or italics. They should not be left spaces between paragraphs, except that between the title and name / address or the names / address and the text or between text and list of references. The references are cited in the text and listed numerically at the foot of the text with font size 10. The title (in bold) must be preceded by the initials of the posters, made as listed below. The names of the authors and their addresses are written in italics, font 11.
Any figure can be given by sacrificing some of the space of the text to be included on the same page (the caption will be italic, size 11).

Abstracts will be published online in the Bulletin of Museums and Biological Institutes, University of Genoa (http://www.bmib.it) and supplied to participants in electronic format on a pen-drive.
Authors are required to complete and submit the releasing form to enable the issue of the material.
